The staff at Red Gate is selected for their dedication to living in harmony with nature, a love of horses and a strong commitment to working with our young people. Each is experienced in horsemanship, skilled in outdoor activities, and annually certified in First Aid and CPR.
Jamie SmithAs owner and Camp Director, Jamie Smith brings to Red Gate a lifetime of experience with horses. Jamie is an avid rider and enjoys showing her horses here in the Northwest. Her passion, love and respect for horses is what drives the Red Gate experience. She derives great joy from coaching children in horsemanship and seeing the special relationship between camper and horse. Jamie lives in Sammamish and has two young equestrians (daughters) of her own. |
